The Windy City to the Big Apple!

Mom, Charlie & I went to Chicago over the weekend to visit Pop & Gram and the rest of the Wauck clan. Aunt Liz & Uncle Fred were nice enough to let us crash in their home. We were able to time our visit with a family celebration of Gram's birthday (on the 20th...88 years old!), also Uncles Larry & Fred's birthday (I think the 19th).

Shortly after Charlie & I landed back in MD, we (Carneys) loaded up the car and drove to NY. Tim is here to receive an award Tuesday night and Charlie is meeting his paternal grandfather for the first time.

Grandpa Wauck got a big kick out of Charlie. He called him his "buttercup" and really enjoyed making Charlie laugh and smile.

While conducting a taste test between Chicago & New York style pizza, Lucy samples some Four Corners pizza...

"It's good!!!!" Sorry Aunt Liz & Mary, New York pizza wins!

Bridget is Joining the Fray...

The kids are so interested in Bridget these days! They love making her smile and laugh and I frequently find them over by her side talking to her or having her "join the game" (see posting below...). It is very cute to watch (:
