Playdate

Emma had a playdate with her friend, Maddie, today. They were snuggling under "special blanket" and having a slumber party. Sarah was chilling in the chair watching.

The Cradle is Reborn

We have reorganized the house and now have a playroom in the basement! With the advent of this new space, we brought up the cradle that Great Grandpa Gabriel built. I thought it would be a great "toy chest", but Emma likes to actually play in it and pretend it's a bed. The cradle is a big hit!

As you can see, Emma really enjoys being a big sister! She loves to snuggle up with Sarah.

Our friend, Cassy Stubbs, came to visit this weekend. We had a lot of fun playing with the girls.

Sarah has begun smiling. She does it a lot, but it is hard to capture it with the camerea. Here are a couple of attempts. Her hair still sticks up straight--even when wet. Here's another picture of Emma pushing Sarah in the swing....and giving her a kiss.
