Dad went to Suzanne's meet this morning. Suzanne did really well, she placed first for UMBC and place 13th out of 95 girls overall.

Dad took a little video of Suzanne in action..watch carefully she is the first runner to go by...don't blink, she's fast!

Congrats Suzanne!

Suzanne had her first Cross Country meet of her college career. And did an excellent job. She placed 4th out of 44 girls. She placed first out of the UMBC team.

"The women defeated Mt. St. Mary’s, 21-35, George Washington, 22-37 and Loyola, 26-29, while falling to American, 23-32. Freshman Suzanne Gabriel and senior Kathleen Galan finished fourth and fifth respectively, as Gabriel broke the 20-minute mark at 19:58.25 ..." (Press Release, "Women's Cross Country Wins Three of Four at Mt. St. Mary's Dual 5K's; Men Split", UMBC, 9/2/06)
Below is a picture of me, 7 months pregnant, hiking in Vermont this weekend...in flip flops. Dumb idea. Also, Sarah-Pie is now walking...toddling. And the Boler boys have arrived in town! Emma was literally shrieking with delight when they pulled up to the house. As you can see the cousins get along fabulously!
